red flame

IMG_3886 IMG_3888A brass cuff bracelet makes this enamel piece adjustable. Fire-patina on the brass is created through a process of placing the brass in the torch flame and then quickly quenching in water to capture the colors that the flame created. This patina is complimented in every way by the red flame enamel flowers. Vitreous enamel is torch-fired at 1500 degrees to produce the luster finish on these flowers.

Taking a lead from mother nature, the inspiration behind this bracelet is the red chili pepper photo seen here.f1271fdde999a27731f2271b4fec17a4
